Anthony Michael Hall, who plays a Gotham City newscaster in The Dark Knight, told SCI FI Wire that his appearance was a secret until he began showing up as Mike Engel, anchor of the Gotham Cable News program Gotham Tonight, in Comcast OnDemand videos. The videos are part of Warner Brothers’ viral marketing campaign for the Batman sequel film.

The Comcast videos are supplemental footage created specifically for the marketing campaign and will not be seen in The Dark Knight. “If you go to Gothamcablenews.com and click on Gotham Tonight, what they’ve done is basically create for Mike Engel the equivalent of Anderson [Cooper] 360 or Larry King Live. It’s a promotional tool, but everybody is in character. It was done, obviously, as a co-venture/production/marketing tool with Comcast

The crooked lineWhile checking my comments I came across a band that had an older woman on the cover of their CD. ( Ok she was old, but very happy ) Anyway: I listened to the songs that was sent as I always do and while I listened I thought I think I hear touches of Neil young and Coldplay with a little western twang. You should look at the list of bands these guys listed that they like. I thought I was a collage of mixed music. The point is I like them and that’s what matters. (smile)

(OK era vecchia, ma molto felice) Ad ogni modo: ho ascoltato i brani che è stato inviato come ho sempre fare e mentre ho ascoltato ho pensato credo di sentire tocchi di Neil Young e Coldplay con un po ‘di twang occidentale. , Si dovrebbe leggere l’elenco delle bande di cui questi ragazzi che a loro piace. Bien que la vérification de mes commentaires, je suis tombée sur un groupe qui avait une femme plus âgée sur la couverture de leur CD. (Ok elle était vieux, mais très heureux) Quoi qu'il en soit: j'ai écouté les chansons qui a été envoyé comme je l'ai toujours tout faire et j'ai écouté, je pensais que je crois que je touche entendre de Neil Young et Coldplay avec un peu d'ouest Twang. Vous devriez voir la liste des groupes énumérés ces gars-là qu'ils aiment. Je pensais que j'étais un collage de la musique mixte. Le point I comme eux et c'est ce qui importe. (sourire)
